What to do in Las Vegas with children? That’s a question I’m sure most parents have asked at least once. One of the great things about Las Vegas is that it is family friendly. You can gamble all you want, eat whatever you want, drink as much alcohol as you want, and flirt with as many women as you’d like without worrying about repercussions. However, I would think that my advice for what to do in Las Vegas with children would be a little different than most parents.
The first thing I thought I’d address is that there are a lot more adult entertainment options in Las Vegas than most cities. Vegas is one of the most opulent cities in the world, so that means a lot of adult entertainment. It is my belief, though, that you should limit your time in Las Vegas to one night, or maybe just one night and a half. The Vegas strip is one of the most expensive places in the world, so while you are in Vegas for one night, don’t spend most of your time wandering the strip looking for something to buy. Just stop in front of the ATM machine, order some cash, and walk into the casino for a few hours of endless entertainment.
Another thing that I would limit to one night is going to the adult clubs in Vegas. There are a lot of adult clubs in Vegas that serve alcohol, so I would definitely avoid them altogether. The lines at the adult clubs can be extremely long, and children can easily get lost, especially if they’re being transported from one establishment to another. Also, it can be very easy to fall off the rides at some of the adult shows, including all of those famous Limo Shows.
After spending a day or two at the casinos playing roulette, poker, blackjack, craps, or any other games of chance, I think it’s time to get out of the house and try something new. So I take my children and head to Las Vegas’ Biggest Slot Machine. It’s owned by America’s largest casino company, and it’s called The World. My kids and I have never been afraid of playing in a casino, so this is a new experience for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they even brought over a bottle of champagne for us.
We get on the elevator, and I hand them an Aventura Key chain as we go down the dark elevators. We enter a large room with a lot of tables and counters, and there are a lot of people trying to win huge amounts of money. My daughter and her friends have been playing video games all of their lives, so I knew that this place was not going to disappoint. I bet our Aventura Key chain will sell for a lot of money when it comes back on the market.
After the game, we head back up to the main floor where I usually sit with my kids and play some craps. The place is full of people, and a lot of them are there to play. There are a lot of dealers here, and I’m glad that there are a lot of different ones. I like having different people, so I can check out who is good and decide whether I want to gamble with them or not. Of course, there are only two paylines, which makes it a little bit more exciting to play.
The World also has a live casino floor where you can watch the game goes on, and it really gets to be fun to watch. This is one of the things that gets me all excited about Las Vegas. While there are a ton of shows, and performances on the outside of the world, you can still come in and watch the show during your spare time. If you plan on going into town after dark, I suggest bringing your own light.
Overall, I really enjoyed staying at the Venetian and I recommend it highly to anyone looking for an affordable place to stay. There are tons of shows, great food, and a whole lot of fun. Of course, I would also recommend a room with lots of space to move around. Hopefully this article gave you a few things to think about when it comes to what to do in las Vegas with kids.
