Most people in the United States do not realize that the town of North Las Vegas actually encompasses two counties and is in fact part of the county of Nevada. To clarify, North Las Vegas is in county North Vegas, while the south part is in county South Las Vegas. When you visit this part of town, make sure to take a left when you pass on main street. Instead, go down to the south side of main street, turn right, and walk toward the strip. You will notice two light poles, one on each side of the strip.

As you are traveling through North Las Vegas, it will be easy for you to see the International Airport because it is located right next to the airport. In fact, there is an actual strip mall right off of I-LV Airport, which is why traveling through North Las Vegas, or even the other side of town, is referred to as “stripper circuit.” The World’s tallest tower, the Venetian, can be seen from several hotels in North Las Vegas. A nice feature of the Venetian is that it has a free lift ticket.

North Las Vegas is indeed filled with excitement! It is where hundreds of thousands of people go to escape the heat of Arizona during the summer months. Unfortunately, it is also where you will likely get into accidents. If you are traveling to or from Las Vegas with your family, you may want to consider renting a car. Not only is a rental very inexpensive, but it gives you the convenience of where you are going and when you arrive, and allows you to see all of the attractions without having to worry about getting lost.

In North Las Vegas, you will find a world-class shopping center. Mall of America is the name of the mall. You will find a movie theater, a bowling alley, a kennel, tons of restaurants, a Grand Canyon Park, a hotel with four stars, and a shopping center complete with numerous restaurants. There are also a few fine restaurants in the area. Outlets for Xerox, JC Penny’s, Sears, and K Mart are all located in the shopping center.

If you are a college student living in North Las Vegas, you will be happy to know that several quality college schools are located near North Las Vegas. Valcor Incorporated is a very good college with a great reputation. At North Las Vegas it is conveniently located between the Vegas Strip and the Venetian Hotel and Casino. College students can easily walk to their dorms and to wherever they need to go on campus. Students will certainly appreciate the easy access to shopping, eating, and entertainment in this area.

Finally, we turn our attention to the Southwestern part of North Las Vegas. This is a wonderful place to live, work, and play. It is home to many fine dining locations, and it is conveniently located close to the Las Vegas Strip. Also, there are several premium hotels, as well as country clubs, shopping centers, and public transportation. Southwestern North Vegas is definitely a great place to move to, and you will find that it will provide you with an easy-care living experience.
